Elemental Movement

A journey to transform your connection to thoughts, body, and breath through mindful movements.  Step into awareness through meditation and guided movements.  Awaken your subconscious while listening to Himalayan bowls, shifting into the parasympathetic nervous system harmonizing your body and opening up new pathways that can begin change.  We close this experience with a healing sound bath to integrate the practice of the evening.

Elemental Movement

Elemental Movement is movement and music at it’s purest state. A moving meditation practice that teaches how to be present in one’s body.  The movement practice is accompanied by Himalayan singing bowls which produce pure vibrational tones that calm and center the nervous system.   As the movement unfolds and the resonance of the music integrates into our bodies, a dance is born. It is a dance of the mind, body and soul. We awaken to the deeper connection between all parts that makes us who we are, creating a safe space to explore elements of ourselves that may have been either neglected or have gone unrecognized for some period of time. We allow the nature of movement to touch the pieces on us that are stagnant, giving them a voice, a space to be, and to be expressed.

Elemental Movement is a journey we take when we allow the ancient knowledge of change to move us from within towards the next and endless states of being.

Are you ready to awaken your soul?

Gaby Scherrer

Gabriela Scherrer is a dancer, performer, fitness instructor and educator based in Seattle. She is originally from Colima, México where she started her dance training in classical ballet at the age of 10. Upon arriving to Seattle in 2007 she fell in love with the diversity of cultures the States had to offer and began exploring different styles of dance and self-expression arts; taking her love to dance to the stages as a local performer.

She is currently a Barre3 Instructor, a technique that combines “ballet barre, yoga and Pilates” with a strong emphasis on Mind-body connection.

Gabriela’s work is strongly influenced by the believe that there is a connection between our internal world and the external-physical one.

“When we consciously shift a part of ourselves another one will react. The whole body is a team”

Gabriela strives to continue to develop herself deeper into the Art of Movement, both as a self expression form and as a healing path, in order to help others to find joy, freedom and identity in their bodies.
